GUN OWNERSHIP GOOD NEWS, BUT BEWARE!

Filed under: Editorial — Gene Milligan @ 3:46 pm

The Second Amendment right to own guns has been ratified by the Supreme Court. This is great news. The fight has been a long one. But now we must be very diligent in our awareness as to the tactics of our enemies, the Liberals, because they will not give up their fight to disarm us, or at the least register our guns so they can later confiscate them.

How can they take them away? Through “Gun Registration!”  When they know where the guns are located, they can fabricate a reason to take them from you, AND NOT RETURN THEM TO YOU AS THEY WILL PROMISE TO DO.

In Czechoslovakia, the concealed Communists in the government managed to pass laws requiring registration of all firearms, then they collected all of the guns under the pretext that they were going to inspect them, clean them, and put them in good working order, then return them so that ostensibly the citizens would be prepared to fight for their country, if necessary.

Then they locked up the guns, and proceeded to completely overthrow the government and establish a full Soviet-style dictatorship.

You think that it cannot happen here. Well, considering the condition our government and country are in today, it can happen here. Our Liberal enemies have been working for decades to reach this point in time.

I became active in politics in 1963, and the Communists were working very hard to enact gun control laws at that time. I began fighting them then, and continue to do so now. But with this new Supreme Court gun ruling, the psychological door has been thrown wide open for the Liberals to achieve “gun registration” laws. Once a gun is registered by the local, state, or federal government agencie, you may as well not have it. It is unconstitutional, but that will not stop them.

Subsequent to the act of registering your gun, they adopt very stringent rules as to gun ownership under the law. The rules include gun confiscation, if you violate them, and they also establish punishing fines if you have an outlawed gun, or if you break a rule.

An additional way in which they control you is to formulate a long list of banned firearms. If you own a gun on the list, you are hit with a severe fine, and the gun is confiscated.

Now that gun ownership has been ratified, the Liberal enemies will chant that they need “some kind of control,” so the answer is registration. If registration laws already exist in their government jurisdiction, which they do in many areas, they will reaffirm them very strictly, and try to bolster, or enlarge the scope of the registration law.

They have devious ways to further control your gun ownership. For example, requiring guns to have trigger locks, to be locked up, to be unloaded, to be in a distant, or difficult part of the home to access. They will hit us with many devious ploys, big and small, to control guns so that it makes it difficult to access them and use them, when the time comes. And It will come.

When the Constitution mentions “…a well-regulated militia,” the implication si that the firearms to be used by a member of the militia should be stored somewhere handy in the home. The Liberals will go so far as to try and pass laws that the citizens firearms have to be stored at some central warehouse to be distributeded only when they are needed to defend themselves in the militia. Now, who will defend you against the goverment operatives who are storing your guns?

“Gun Registration” is now the key issue that must be stopped in its tracks. Do not allow new laws to be passed, and fight to repeal ones that exist. Washington D.C. is a good example of unconstitutional restrictions.

The future of your kids and grandkids can depend on this. Someone has to take action! Why not you?

Big Oil

Filed under: Editorial — Gene Milligan @ 11:56 am

There are four major players generating our national problems today, which include snowballing gas prices! Big Oil is not in first place. The low-rated United States Congress is in first place! (Congress = 11%; Bush, July 13, Wash. Post = 28% rating).

The leftwing liberal Congressmen and women obviously are the prime movers on the Democrat side of the aisle, but the most dangerous Leftwing activists are a handful of so-called Republican Senators who are torpedoing our country because they work hand-in-hand with our Leftwing enemies in the Senate. Such efforts, and successes by them, keep the Republican conservatives from getting needed laws passed to protect us, and laws that weaken us in the fight against terrorism. This does serious damage to our quality of life and our freedom.

My personal conviction is that such Leftwing Republicans are not Republicans at all, but have been helped to get where they are by our Liberal enemies. They effectively have infiltrated a voting block into the Republican side of the Senate to kill as many positive Republican bills as possible. To understand what damage they have done, and understand where their true loyalties lie, you have to look at the results of their actions–nearly always detrimental to America’s best interests.  I will discuss the Senate Leftwing Liberals, cloaked as Republicans, in a later posting.

The Leftwing, or Socialist, News Media ranks number two. They hold second position because without them, the political tactics perpetrated against us by our Liberal enemies absolutely could not work. They raise our national consciousness in order to set us up for whatever current Liberal hit that is being promoted at the time.

Does the following phrase, which was repeated ad nauseum by the journalists, ring any bells?: “The bubble is going to burst! The bubble is going to burst! The bubble is going to burst!  Then foreclosures, foreclosures, foreclosures!” Then recession, recession, recession. This scared our citizens so badly, they stopped doing anything with respect to housing, etc. The leftwing news media has contributed greatly to our economic problems. They knew what they were doing!

The “Environmental Movement” easily takes third place. This Socialist Environmental Movement is probably one of the most deadly, and successful, political weapons ever devised to help overthrow our American Democracy. It is more likely they are equal to the News Media when it comes to the damage they have done to our great nation, but I listed them as third for convenience of discussion.

With respect to our skyrocketing gas prices, Big Oil deserves fourth place honors. Years ago, I worked in Washington, D.C., and had the questionable experience of dealing with the American Petroleum Institute (API). They have huge lobbying power which they are not using to help solve our problems. I was told by a representative of Tenneco Oil Company that, relative to the countries of the world, Tenneco had the sixth largest budget in the world. That is just one company. Think about their impact, if they decided to lobby for us.

Because of the national impact of high gas prices, the individuals behind it, are significantly reducing our quality of life—something the Socialists have been working to accomplish for many years. ExxonMobile reported profits in the amount of 10.9 billion dollars for 2007. Their response is: “We have to protect our stockholders.” This has to be one of the most inane statements I have ever heard. Their profit only amounts to $27,000,000 per day! Think about it! 10.9 billion dollars is ten thousand nine hundred million dollars!

American citizens are seriously hurting. Our quality of life is going down the tubes. And Please, do not regurgitate the chant that “Romanians have to pay $8.00 per gallon!” The leftwing News Media and Environmentalist blat, “Golly, gee whiz, a country under Communist control pays $8.00 per gallon, so it is only right that we join them! We are gluttons and don’t deserve what we have” Well, I hasten to remind them, we live in America, and one of things that makes us great is that we have been so successful as producers that we pay less for products. At least we used to before our Liberal Enemies gained power!”

They use the old propaganda trick of labeling our use of oil as an “addiction.” We need oil, folks. There is no addiction. There is need. Multi-millions of us cannot do our job without oil.

My goal for this posting is to sort of lay the groundwork for some future subjects and future political cartoons. So I will leave it here just for now.  Thank you.
